Community Starts with the Children

My Community box is based on the idea, that the community starts with the children. Through playing, I decided that the shape sorter would be an ideal toy to communicate my proposition. Each coloured shape, represents the key figures that each community relies on. The idea that teaching and learning these figures comes through the media of playing.
It was a fun project to do and I hope thats what it comes across. (Ps, check out the slick black box that I made too)

White Rabbit Student Campaign

The White Rabbit safety awareness campaign is for Staffordshire University students. I worked alongside Darren Grzesiak to create this fun, fairytale adaptation of current day issues, that students may face in their first year. Darren and I created a wallpaper, keyring and bar mats to accompany the safety manual. The cover of this project used the traditional method of metal etching, and paper press.

Branding a Soap

The brief was to come up with your own soap. I chose the same target market as Umberto Giannini, and took his illustrative quality he uses for his hair care products. Combining my own illustration, with watercolour marks, it gave a luxurious and eye catching quality that I was after.

Creative Edge CV Box & Personal Stationary Range.

Here are my personal stationary range, they include, Letterhead, Compliments Slip, CV and business card (font and back) The minimalistic, clean and slick feel, suits my creative edge box.

My creative cv is based on the idea of the sides of the box. It the way the folds slot into each other to create theses interesting edges. The monochrome is an reflection of my initial (r.r) logo. Each box will contain my cv and business card. (pics of them will be up soon) Hopefully, ill be handing these little boxes out to design agencies.

New Logo For my portfolio :D

My Logo is based on my initials. Not very clever but its my own identity and people who know me, say its 'very raj like' Its taking a contemporary and minimalistic feel with the use of monochrome colours, and the fantastic serif typeface Didot. The circles almost add a frame to my initials. My logo is a true representation of yours truly, I love it.

D&AD Posters

These PJ smoothie posters are an outdoor campaign, based on having a new taste and experience of all the exotic flavours. Fruit Burst, reflected the natural but funky idea, and it was only appropriate to use this burst effect on the posters. Each one is different to reflect the flavour of smoothie.

Political Posters

Here's my Level 3 Political Posters, which were based on the Typographer Vince Frost. I based my idea on his philosophy 'To Have Freedom, To have an Open Mind'. Ive made the 3D type (which is my own typeface) with thick transparent resin. This played on the openness idea, which gives one the freedom to make ones mind up. The colours are vibrant, and the juxtaposition of the type is set away from the image.
